Brovider is operated by Matthew Vigna, a sole proprietor trading as Brovider ("we", "us"). For the purposes of data protection law, Matthew Vigna is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Brovider provides AI receptionist services for businesses, including the demo on our website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us: your website address, business name, and any contact details you share when requesting a demo, contacting us, asking about pricing, or activating a receptionist (such as your name, email address and phone number).

Account information: if you create an account, your login credentials and account details.

Information from your public website: when you enter your website, we read the information customers already see there — services, hours, FAQs — to configure your demo receptionist.

Call data: when you or a caller speaks with a receptionist, we process the audio, transcripts, and the summaries and outcomes generated from the conversation.

Usage and device information: standard technical data such as pages viewed, device type and IP address, needed to operate and secure the site.

How we use information and our legal basis

We use this information to build and run your demo, provide and improve the service, respond to your requests, follow up about activation, and keep the service secure.

Our legal bases for processing are: performing our contract with you (providing the demo and the service), our legitimate interests (improving and securing the service, responding to inquiries), your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations where required.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your business information to market to anyone else.

Who we share information with

Service providers: a small number of providers that help us operate Brovider — for example cloud hosting, voice and telephony services, and AI providers that power call understanding. They process information on our behalf to deliver the service.

Paddle, our Merchant of Record: when you purchase, Paddle.com processes your payment, manages your subscription, handles sales tax, and issues invoices. Paddle collects payment information directly under its own privacy policy; we receive only the details needed to manage your subscription.

Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants or similar advisers where needed.

Authorities: where required by law or to protect our rights.

Call recordings and transcripts

Demo calls may be recorded or transcribed so we can produce the summaries, outcomes and next actions you see after a call. If this changes for activated businesses, we'll explain how recordings are handled before your receptionist goes live.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate record-keeping, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who can see it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
